A Swechhasebak League activist was killed by the rival group over establishing supremacy in Madina market area of the district town on Monday night.
The deceased Abdullah Haque Kochi, 20, was the son of Sanzu Miah and was an active activist of Swechhasebak League leader Imran Ahmed group.
Witnesses said the activists of Gulzar Ahmed group led by him attacked on Kochi and his associate Sunny following previous feud over establishing supremacy at a bus stand.
At one stage, criminals stabbed both Kochi and Sunny.
Later they were rushed to Osmani Medical College Hospiyal where doctor declared Kochi dead.
OC Gousul Hossain of Jalalabad thana said previous enmity might have the reason behind the killing.
