Sadika Swarna became second runner-up in ‘Lux-Channel i Superstar 2009.’ From same batch, Mehazabien Chowdhury, Orsha, Ishana, Tahsin, among others got celebrity fames. Calm and quiet Swarna always tries to keep herself by own way and works as her own liking. For this reason, numbers of her works are not so much. But during works she gives full of concentration. According to the actress, to come into Swarna’s present position, her parents played a pivotal role. In the meantime, Swarna is very much excited and also delighted because in her three decades
of teaching career, her mother Nilima Akhter got ‘Best Teacher’ award.
Swarna said her mother started her teaching career through PWD School at Siddhirganj in Narayanganj. Before 25 years, she got a promotion and transferred to Water Delopment Board Scondary School in Kaptai, Chattogram. She has been working there as senior teacher for last 25 years. Recently she got a letter from Secondary Education Officer of Kaptai Upazila and UNO and informed that she has been selected
as Best Teacher in Kaptai upazila.
While sharing her feelings Swarna’s mother said over mobile phone from Kaptai, “It is really a great achievement
in my teaching profession. I am really delighted for this recognition. In fact, it is an official recognition for me as a teacher. Everybody prays for me.”
Swarna shared her feelings by this way, “I am really excited and delighted for getting Best Teacher award by my mother. As her daughter, I really feel proud of it. My mother is a honest and dedicated
to her works.”
