Swadesh Ranjan Saha and Mohammad Tofail Ahmed have been elected President and General Secretary respectively of Dhaka University Accounting Alumni Association (DUAAA) for 2018-20 term.
Ahmed Yousuf Abbas, Mohammad Moniruzzaman and Deawn Wasiqul Alam Milon have been elected as Vice Presidents of the organisation.
The newly elected Executive Committee took over charge at the 17th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the association held at the Dhaka Club on Thursday, said a press release on Friday.
Comptroller and Auditor General of Bangladesh Mohammad Muslim Chowdhury was present as the chief guest on the occasion.
The other office-bearers are Md Rafiqul Islam Howlader, Treasurer; Mohammad Saifuddin, Joint Secretary; Abdur Razzak Khan Rana, Joint Secretary; Mahmudur Rahman, Organising Secretary; Abdul Gafur Rana, Project Secretary; Md Al-Amin, Membership Development Secretary; Ishtar Mahal Shithee, Welfare Secretary; GS Ashiqur Rahman, R &D Secretary; Md Saiful Islam, ICT Secretary; Nayma Mehrin, International Affairs Secretary; Abul Kalam Azad, Sports Secretary; Mashuk Hossain Khan, Cultural Secretary; and Mohammad ShahinUddin, Office Secretary.
The other Executive Members are Syed Raihan Rashid, Harun-Or-Rashid Hawlader, Mohiuddin Ahmed, Mahamudul Amin Masud, Ahmed Hossain, Prof Mahmuda Akhter, AKMG Kibria Mazumder, Md Siddiqur Rahman, Md Masudur Rahman and Sish Haider Chowdhury.
