Associate Professor of Public Administration Mohammad Samiul Islam has been appointed as the new provost of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall, a residential student hall of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology.
University Registrar Mohammad Ishfaqul Hossain confirmed the matter at noon on Friday (September 24).
He said, Associate Professor of Public Administration Mohammad Samiul Islam will be the new provost of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall for the next three years from October 1, 2021.
It may be mentioned that, Mohammad Samiul Islam has previously served as the Assistant Proctor of the University.
