UNB, Cox’s Bazar :
Police arrested a suspected human trafficker from Sonarpar Bazar area in Ukhyia upazila on Saturday morning.
The arrestee was identified as Rustom Ali Majhi, a resident of Sonaichari village of the upazila.
Tipped off, a team of police conducted a raid in the area and arrested Rustom at about 9:00 am, said Premananda Das, sub-inspector of Ukhyia Police Station.
Rustom is accused in 10 cases filed for human trafficking, added the SI.
