Sushmita dreams to survive with original songs

Sushmita Saha, hailed from Savar, took place in top 10 positions in the ‘Channel i-Serakontho’ contest in 2014. Sushmita’s parents gave her an opportunity to receive primary lessons in music from Dhaka’s Tikatuli area’s teacher Gobinda Goutam Chakraborty. Sushmita has released 30 original songs till now. Last Wednesday, she lent her voice for two cover songs – Aji jhoro jhoro mukhoro badolo dine and De dol dol. Ziaul Hasan Pial has rearranged music of these two songs. Biplob Saha was her co-singers in these two songs. In last Eid, Sushmita’s two songs were released.
One song was Namti Likhona, lyricist: Syed Mohsin Munir and music composer: Kazi Hablu), and Kemon Achhe, (lyricist: Dr Md Harunur Rashid and music composer: Niaz Uddin Zahin).
Sushmita informed that in 2019, her debut original song titled Shudhu Tumi was released. Kamruzzaman Kajol wrote lyrics of this song, while Kazi Hablu composed its music. Sushmita also debuted with playback song. She first rendered playback song with Rajib for Kazi Azad’s movie Bonolata Sen. Composed by Anwar Shikder Titon, Ali Azad wrote lyrics of this song. Therefore, she also lent her voice with Belal Khan for movie Hrid Majhare Tumi. These two movies already got censor board’s clearance certificates to release. In last Eid, she also rendered two songs for dramas – Fahad er Kukur Vs Jui er Biral and Looser. She completed MBA from Stamford University Bangladesh. Her birthday is on September 3,
the singer added. While talking about own planning in music, Sushmita Saha said, “Obviously I want to render some melodious original songs, which will remain in the hearts of many music-lovers forever.
Everybody prays for me as I can fulfil my dream.”
