Sushama Sarkar is mostly seen to work in television dramas and serials. But Sushama
acted all movies got appreciation by the viewers. This time she is going to star in British Bangladeshi director Sadik Khan’s movie, ‘A Blessed Man.’ While talking about acting in this movie, Sushama told this correspondent, “A Blessed Man’ is basically story of urban fairy tale. Pre-production works of the movie have already completed. I am going to play in an important role in the movie. For this reason, I am taking necessary preparation before taking part in shooting of the film. In fact, I am very much excited to work in this movie. I believe this film will give something new message to our film industry. I am grateful to full team of this film to select me finally to act in this movie. I am prepared to give my level best effort in this movie now.” Sushama informed that she is also engaged with shooting of some ongoing drama
serials now. These are: Nazrul Islam Raju’s ‘E Emon Porichoy’ (for Zee5), Rafat Majumder Rinku’s ‘Joint Family,’ Sokal Ahmed’s ‘Sada Sidhe Chhoto Bhai,’ etc. Therefore, she is also
acting in BTV’s serial ‘Doshe Dosh,’ which script is written by Kazi Rashidul Haque Pasha. According to Sushama, she is playing important roles in these serials. Sushama acted movies ‘Peyarar Subash,’ directed by Nurul Alam Atique, ‘Ural,’ directed by Rajib Ahmed, and ‘Gangkumari,’ directed by Fazlul Tuhin, are waiting to get release dates now.
‘Chhuye Dile Mon,’ ‘Doobsatar,’ ‘Badshah,’ ‘Bhubon Majhi,’ ‘Dohon,’ ‘Shapludu,’ ‘Gor’ and ‘Nabab LLB’ were Sushama acted released movies. ‘Sada Megher Brishti’ was Sushama acted her debut drama directed by Gias Uddin Selim. Masum Reza wrote story of this drama. Sushama has been engaged with theatre troupe, Desh Natok for many years. ‘Jonome Jonmantor,’ ‘Nitya Puran’ and ‘Jolbashor’ are Sushama acted mentionable theatre plays.
