In a special drive of Anti -corruption Commission at Anowara Upazila of South Chattogram rounded up one Surveyor of Upazila Land Office Md. Shahidul Hoque while taking bribe from a beneficiary on Wednesday night .
He was arrested from his residence located at Chaturi of the upazila and recovered bribe money of Tk 20 thousand.
Deputy Director of Chattogram District-1 Unit, Lutful Kabir led the drive . The accused Shahidul hailed from Sadar thana of Comilla district and son of one Ali Ashraf of the area, ACC sources said.
Sources said the Surveyor took bribe money from a local for supplying a digital Khatian from the upazila land office.
