This time in the field of folk music there is an acceptability of Surovi. She has already won the hearts of many folk music lovers by rendering songs in different parts of the country.
Recently a duet song rendered by SI Tutul and Surovi titled Tumi bhinno ami bhinno, Dui bhuboner ami shunnyo, Por jonome hobey hobey dekha, Na jaiyo na jaiyore pran shokh created hype among the listeners. So Surovi has become more serious about her career. She concentrates on not to sing maximum number of songs rather than quality works. She has stepped forward in this regard. She has a plan to render song with Kumar Shanu. Last week her dream came into true. Surovi gave her voice with him in a song written by Bishal and composed by Robin Islam. Title of the song was Mon kancher aynatei tui, Khub kore toke chhui. Surovi is very much excited to perform with Kumar Shanu.
While talking in this regard Surovi told this correspondent, “I had planned for many days to render a song with Shanuda. At last, my dream came into true. I am very much optimistic about the song. I give thanks to CD Choice family to give me such an opportunity.” Lyrical video of the song will be available on CD Choice’s own channel.
