Mastizaade makers have sent a notice to Sunny Leone-recommended designer Leepakshi Ellawadi for tardy work.
The production team of Milap Zaveri’s Mastizaade is said to be miffed with costume designer Leepakshi Ellawadi and have sent her a legal notice for not delivering the star cast’s costumes on time.
An industry source says, “Sunny Leone had recommended Leepakshi’s name for the project and after she came on board, she took more than 70 per cent of her fee in advance. But, she didn’t give any costumes for nearly 45 days. When the makers called her, she asked for a week’s time. At the end of that deadline, she delivered a few outfits which were found to have been used earlier in various shows and events.”
Producer Pritish Nandy’s team is apparently planning to sue her if the designer, who was earlier linked to cricketer Yuvraj Singh, doesn’t reply to the notice.
