Raihan Kaisar Sunny of North South University (NSU) emerged as the champion of the men’s singles event of the Inter-Private University Table Tennis Tournament when he defeated Tamin Iqbal of United International University (UIU) by 4-2 sets in the final at the Auditorium of UIU on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Tamin-Nizam duo of UIU became champions in the men’s doubles event when they beat Fahim-Ahnab duo of BRAC University by 3-2 sets in the final at the same venue on the same day.
Muttasir Anam of North South University was adjudged the Player of the Tournament.
After the final match, Vice-Chancellor of UIU Professor Dr Md Rezwan Khan distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest. Pro-Vice-Chancellor of UIU Dr Mofizur Rahman, Treasurer of UIU Habib Ibrahim and Registrar of UIU Professor Salauddin were present at the time.
