Sunny Dale and Prayash reached the final of the Girls’ Group of the Walton Smart TV Dhaka Metropolis Table Tennis Competition on Tuesday.
In the day’s first semifinal, Sunny Dale defeated Azimpur Girls’ School & College by 3-1 sets and in the second semifinal, Prayash beat Sweed Ramna by 3-1 sets at the Shaheed Tajuddin Indoor Stadium.
Besides, a total of 40 matches of boys’ singles and a number of 16 matches of girls’ singles were held at the same venue on the same day.
Today (Wednesday) the Walton Smart TV Dhaka Metropolis School Table Tennis Competition will come to an end.
Minister for Communication Obaidul Quader will distribute the prizes among the winners on the concluding day as the chief guest while Additional Director of RB Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Don will be with him as the special guest.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Table Tennis Federation Jobera Rahman Linu and the other officials of the federation will be present at the time.
