South superstar Rajinikanth who is currently gearing up for his next – Darbar will now be joined by Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty. Helmed by AR Murugadoss, the film is a cop-drama, shooting for the film went on floors in mid-April and the team is currently on a schedule break. While earlier there were reports of Prateik Babbar playing the main antagonist in Darbar, a source close to the project confirmed Suniel Shetty’s name for the same. Prateik Babbar instead will be seen as Suniel’s son in Darbar. Talking about the same, the source informed, “Anna, a corporate giant, will take on Thalaiva’s IPS officer. He joins the team during the second schedule which starts in the next few days in Mumbai and will be there all through,” Reports also suggest that Suniel Shetty is currently prepping up to bulk up for his role in Darbar. To that, the source further added, “The antagonist’s track has an emotional back-story also featuring Rajinikanth, which makes the revenge all the more exciting. There will be several confrontation scenes between the duo in the film which climaxes with a stylized, larger than life action scene.”
