Sheikh Arif Bulbon :Sumona Shoma became popular in media after working in several numbers of good movies. She last worked in Humayun Ahmed written and Belal Ahmed directed movie Nondito Norokey in 2007. Later she became so busy with her conjugal life and only daughter Bornomala that she could not give time to acting. After a break of nine years, Shoma is working in two movies. Ashraf Shishir is making these two movies – Aamra Ekta Cinema Banabo and Gopon. The first film will be produced under the banner of Impress Telefilm Ltd.While sharing her feelings to work in two movies at a time Sumona Shoma told this correspondent, “Last nine years I was engaged with my family and only daughter Bornomala. Now my daughter is growing up. For this reason, I have managed time for acting. In fact, I had intention to work in good story based movies. Stories of these two movies are really nice. Story of Aamra Ekta Cinema Banabo is based on before and after the Liberation War of Bangladesh. I am very much satisfied to work in these movies.” Sumona Shoma also informed that already she has finished shooting of these two movies. She is very much optimistic about these. Within very short days she will also work in a new movie of Wahiduzzaman Diamond. Sumona Shoma started her acting career by Rezanur Rahman’s play Shesh Thekey Shuru. But her acted first play was Atmosomorpon against Syed Shuvro. Shoma acted first movie was Rajdhani, which was directed by Mohammad Hossain Jemmy. Late hero Manna was her co-actor in that movie. Later she acted in G Sarkar’s Milon and Didarul Alam Badol’s Na Bolona. Therefore, Sumona Shoma is also engaged with acting in several drama serials now. She also wants to be engaged with programme hosting either in Bangladesh Television or any private satellite channel, Shoma said.
