Rockland Summer Open (Ranking) Badminton Tournament starts at the Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Indoor Stadium on Tuesday.
President of Bangladesh Badminton Federation and Secretary of the Ministry of LGRD and Co-operatives Abdul Malek formally opened the meet as the chief guest.
Vice-President of the Federation Amir Hossain Bahar and Secretary of the National Sports Council Ashok Kumar Biswas were present at the time.
In the day’s women’s singles, Priya, Bithi, Urmi, Liza, Taj Nahar, Reshma and Nabila won their respective matches.
