Sumana Samanta renders song for Bangladeshi audiences

By profession Sumana Samanta Mukherjee is a teacher. She is also a singer. She has been engaged herself with these two identities from her heart and soul. But she has fascination about music a lot.
From this reason, she got her primary learning on music from mother Shoma Samanta.
Now she is receiving training from Pandir Sawgat Banerjee. Last year among newcomers’ singers, Sumana’s Anguler Alto Chhoyai got huge appreciation from the music lovers.
This time Sumana has rendered three songs for Bangladeshi audiences. She gave her voice for play-back song of Idris Haider’s first movie Nil Foring. She rendered the song with a duet number with Kolkata’s SaReGaMaPa famed singer Shovon.
 Meanwhile, under Imran’s music composition she also rendered another duet song with Imran under Snehashish’s lyrics. Few days ago, its recording was done.
On the occasion of coming Eid-ul-Azha, duet song of Sumana and Imran will be released on Youtube. Last week Imran went to Kolkata. He gave his voice with Sumana in a song titled Mon Aamar under Indranil Mitra’s composition.
While talking about her present activities Sumana told this correspondent, “The duet new song which we have rendered together has really become nice. I am really impressed about its lyrics and music. However, Imran is not only a good singer but also a popular music composer. I have really enjoyed working with him.”
Sumana informed that on Srabon 22, she is coming with a Tagore song titled Aamar Din Furalo under Debjeet Roy’s music. Sumana’s husband Abhishek Mukherjee is Professor of mathematics of a college in Burdhowan, India.
