Sheikh Arif Bulbon :
Earlier popular TV actress Sumaiya Shimu did not get the scope to work with Nayeem in maximum number of TV plays and telefilms. But those plays and telefilms became popular where they worked together. To keep in mind that think, promising director Shikhor Shahniyat made an exceptional story based play to cast them. Title of the play is Aar Tarar Golpo.
Director Shikhor Shahniyat himself wrote story, script and dialogue of the play. Shooting of the play was done at a shooting house in the city’s Uttara area last week. Sumaiya Shimu played in role of Tara, while Nayeem performed in role of Mamun in the drama.
Shimu played in role of an actress who has been struggling to establish in media. On the other hand, Nayeem acted in role of a photographer.
While talking about the play Sumaiya Shimu told this correspondent, “In a word, script of the play is really nice. I have worked in the play with many likings. At present, Nayeem is acting well. Among many actors, he is stepping forward which is very much significant for our TV play arena.”
Nayeem shared his feelings by this way, “I have no dare to comment about Shimu Apu’s acting. But I can say she is an educated, wise, gentle and smart actress. She is that type of actresses by whom good dramas are being made still in our media. She cares me a lot. For this reason, I always feel comfortable to work with her. Earlier I had experience to work under Shikhor’s direction. Therefore, story of the play Aar Tarar Golpo is really superb. The play will go on air soon in any satellite channel.”
It may be mentioned that Shimu and Nayeem first worked together in a drama serial. Later they worked together in several single episode plays. Shimu recently has started to take part in shooting of a serial titled Shunnyota under the direction of Amlan Biswas. Therefore, Shimu’s acted a serial Lake Drive Lane, which is being directed by Nazrul Islam Raju, is being aired on NTV now.
On the other hand, Nayeem’s acted two serials – Sohojatri, Kaisar Ahmed, and Bakshobondi, directed by Noim Imtiaz Neyamul, are being aired in two separate channels now.
