A four-day ‘Sultan Mela (fair)’ in remembrance of the 90th birth anniversary of celebrated artist SM Sultan began at Sultan Mancha of Narail Government Victoria College and Sishu Swargo on Tuesday.
Sultan Foundation in association with SM Sultan Sishu and Fine Art Foundation and Bengal Foundation organised the fair to mark the birth anniversary of the renowned artist.
All preparations have been made for a successful holding of the fair, said member secretary of Sultan Foundation Ashikur Rahman Miku.
Sheikh Hafizur Rahman, MP, will inaugurate the fair as the chief guest while chief designer of Bangladesh Television Zahid Mostafa will present as the special guest.
Bimanesh Chandra Biswas professor of Fine Art department of Khulna University will preside over the function.
