Terming all the news items of stepping down from the post of manager of Bangladesh National Cricket Team as rumors, Khaled Mahmud Sujon on Monday said that he will continue to discharge his duties.
Former captain of the national team also said he sent an email to Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) chief executive Nizamuddin Chowdhury on June 7 with the request of appointing him on a permanent basis.
Sujon was talking to journalists at BCB office at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in city’s Mirpur area in the last afternoon.
