Sujon made manager of Bangladesh World Cup Cricket team

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Thursday named former national cricketer cum BCB director Khaled Mahmud Sujon as the manager of Bangladesh National Cricket team for the ICC Cricket World Cup to be held in Australia and New Zealand in February-March.
The BCB Board of Directors in a meeting at Radisson Blu Water Garden hotel with BCB president Nazmul Hasan Papon MP in the chair also reshuffled its nine standing committees changing their heads.
As per the reshuffle, Naimur Rahman Durjoy MP has been made chairman of Cricket Operations Committee while Akram Khan that of Tournament Committee, Hanif Bhuiyan Grounds Committee, Enayet Husain Siraj Working Committee, Lokman Hossain Bhuiyan Facilities Management Committee, Gazi Golam Murtoza Cricket Committee of Dhaka Metropolis-CCDM, Tanjil Chowdhury Age-Group Tournament Committee, Shafiul Alam Chowdhury Nadel Medical Committee and Showkat Aziz Russell has been made chairman of the Audit Committee.
The BCB board meeting also formed two new committees — High Performance and Technical.
Mahbub Anam has been made chairman of the High Performance Committee while AZM Nasiruddin vice-chairman. The chairmen of all the nine standing committees are its members.
Technical Committee members are Jahangir Shah Badsha, Athar Ali Khan, ASM Faruque, Ishtiaque Ahmed, Mainul Haque and Shafique-ul Huque (Heera). The name of the committee convener will be announced later.
