Sujata wants to continue acting again in TV plays, films

Rupban famed legendary film actress Sujata has many leisure times now. She has been passing her leisure times with two grandsons – Fardin Azim and Abiad Azim now. They are sons of Sujata’s only son Faisal Azim.
She has no engagement with acting in TV play or movie. So she has been passing days under like holiday atmosphere. But this legendary actress is still capable to work. For this reason, she showed her keen interest to be regular again in TV plays and movies.
Though Sujata, however, acted in several numbers of plays and movies but she was not satisfied with those works. She wants to be regular again in acting. She has requested the directors to cast her in TV plays or movies according to the demand of her character.
While talking in this regard Sujata said, “Once I was engaged with shooting every day. But now I have no time or my age doesn’t favour of me. But I have still affection for acting. I am also physically fit for acting. So I want give holidays to my leisure times. I hope directors and producers will give me work again.”
Sujata acted movie Rupban, which was released in 1965 is a milestone in the country’s film history. In that movie, a 13 years old girl named Tondra Majumder acted. Director Salauddin named this girl after Sujata. Still now she is popular as Rupban to all. Till 1978, she was heroine of many super hit movies. She was absent from acting for 12 years once. But she has returned to acting again. Now she is passing times with leisure times and acting.
Besides Rupban, Sujata acted other mentionable movies are: Dak Babu, Jorina Sundori, Aporajeyo, Agun Niye Khela, Kanchanmala, Alibaba, Beiman, Onek Prem Onek Jwala, Protinidhi, etc.
In 1977, Sujata last acted as a heroine in Rahim Newaj directed movie Raat-er Koli. Aired on Banglavision Sujata acted first serial was Ronger Duniya. Now Hasan Jahangir’s Chapabaj is Sujata acted only serial which is being aired on Boishakhi TV.
