The Indian External Affairs Secretary (Multilateral & Economic Relations), Sujata Mehta, will arrive here on April 5 on a three-day visit to review and discuss the ongoing India-Bangladesh development partnership and economic cooperation, as well as ways to strengthen it further.
She will be accompanied by Alok Kumar Sinha, Joint Secretary (Development Partnership Administration) and Sripriya Ranganathan, Joint Secretary (Bangladesh and Myanmar), an Indian High Commission press release said here yesterday.
Sujata Mehta is the senior most official dealing with multilateral and development cooperation issues in India’s External Affairs Ministry.
During her visit, Mehta is expected to call on different ministers and
hold discussions with Senior Secretary of the Economic Relations Division
(ERD) Mohammed Mejbahuddin, the release said.
