Administrator of Chattogram City Corporation Khorshedul Alam Sujon demanded regular dredging of Karnafuli river to get rid of water logging in the port city . He made the request during a meeting with Army officials in charge of project implementation at the 34th ADG office of the Army, which is implementing a mega waterlogging project in the city at Dampara on Thursday.
The 34th Engineering Construction Brigade of the Army is carrying out the construction work of the mega project titled ‘Re-excavation, expansion, renovation and development of canals to alleviate waterlogging in port city’.
