Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan will be starting the promotions of their forthcoming release Sui Dhaaga: Made in India from August 7. India celebrates World Handloom Day on that date. Sui Dhaaga is based on the life of a tailor and an embroider played by Varun and Anushka respectively and is inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s make in India initiative. The makers believe that the World Handloom Day would be apt to start the promotions of the film. The film’s producer Maneesh Sharma had this to say in a recent statement, “Sui Dhaaga is a salute to the bold entrepreneurs and the self-reliant workforce of the country – artisans, craftsmen, weavers and the grassroots level contributors to the surging India’s indigenous arts and crafts industry.” Varun and Anushka will be promoting the film all across the country and will travel around spreading the word for their film that hits the theatres on September 28, 2018.
