Hothat Dekha (sudden rendezvous) is not a title. It was a sudden rendezvous of two friends, two popular actors and directors – Afsana Mimi and Zahid Hasan. Recently they were taking part in shooting of two separate plays in the city’s Uttara area. Zahid Hasan was engaged with shooting at third floor of a shooting house while Afsana Mimi was on first floor of that building. When they informed they were taking part in shooting in that shooting place they met with each other. After a long time, these two friends became excited to see each other.
During working together on stage in 1988-89, Mimi and Zahid first invented they studied in same school together. Sirajganj is Zahid’s birth place where Mimi had to study there in school. In Hoimobala School of Sirajganj, they studied together in same class during childhood.
While talking about Afsana Mimi Zahid Hasan said, “Afsana Mimi is my mother like friend. She is very intimate to me. She always takes care of me like motherly friend. She is not only talented director but also a good actress. But she is very much perfect in her work. I always wish her success.”
