Set in the backdrop of a patriarchal Bengali household, Sudeshna Roy and Abhijit Guha’s latest offering Sudakshina tells the story of an ideal housewife, mother, daughter-in-law, aunt and sister-in-law, who gave up on her dreams of becoming a journalist to end up being a homemaker. The family drama, based on a Procheta Gupta story, stars Sreelekha Mitra and Badshah Moitra in the lead.
