Striker of Bangladesh Football team and also striker of Abahani Limited was admitted in a hospital of Kolkata to undergo an operation in his foot. Nabib underwent surgery in his foot on Saturday and his operation was done successfully.
Nabib got injury in his foot when he played for Bangladesh Football team against Nepal Football team in the two-match FIFA friendly football series at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in last November.
After becoming a good shape head coach of Bangladesh Football team Jamie Day brought him Qatar with Bangladesh team in December. But Nabib could not take part in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers 2022 match against Qatar on December 4.
Later, he played for Abahani Limited in the first phase of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football. But as his injury became serious the local physician suggested him to undergo surgery in his foot. So, he went to Kolkata and underwent surgery in his foot on Saturday. His operation was done successfully but it will take time for him to play in the field again.
