The country’s electronics company ‘Walton’ has again slashed the prices of its various models of LED televisions, ranging from Tk 250 to Tk 3,000, across the country, making the prices of high technology based LED TVs affordable for all classes of people.
Application of world’s latest technology, addition of state-of-the art machines, increase of production following upward demand and production of all necessary parts at Walton Micro-Tech Corporation led the local brand to further reduce the prices of its LED televisions, according to Walton authorities. In addition, the quality of Walton LED Tvs was increased with the application of modern technologies in the production process.
The authorities said they slashed the prices of LED TVs few times in January and February last. And, the efforts on bringing down the prices of LED televisions are running, they said and hoped that the prices would be further come down in future.
As per the reduced prices, the price of Walton brand 19-inch LED TV is now sold at Tk 11,900 instead of the previous price of Tk 12,150.
The Walton officials said, separate manufacturing lines were set up at Walton Micro-Tech Corporation at Chandra in Gazipur for producing plastic cabinet, speaker, remote control, mother board, electric power cable and LED TV panel. With the start of local production, the demands for Walton brand LED televisions are raising among the customers’ level.
