Suborna Mustafa is a legendary actress. Viewers always remain eager to enjoy her acting. On the other hand, Shomi Kaiser is a popular name in the country’s drama arena. Though Suborna is still regular in acting but Shomi does not seen acting now. Director Arif Khan always gives viewers’ attention to select the artistes in his work. This time he has done that thing.
Under the banner of same theatre group Dhaka Theatre Suborna and Shomi performed together on stage. But long time they did not get the scope to work together in the small screen. Arif Khan has done that job as he made a play titled Jatra Pother Golpo based on Badrul Anam Soud written story casting Suborna and Somi Kaiser. It will be aired on Ntv during Eid-ul-Azha.
Suborna and Shomi have already taken part in shooting of the play. Suborna said, “Story of the play is nice. We have to work seriously regarding to portray our role properly. Shomi is not regular in acting now but she did a lot of efforts during shooting. I believe viewers will enjoy the play.”
Shomi Kaiser shared her feelings by this way, “I had experience to work with Suborna Apa on stage but we did not have any experience to share the screen together. We tried to do it earlier and many directors wanted but they failed. This time Arif Khan became successful in this regard. It has really become a memorable play.”
