After a break, popular pair of the small screen Afzal Hossain and Suborna Mustafa again performed together in a telefilm titled Tobuo Aamarey Debona Bhulitey. Directed by Arif Khan story of the telefilm was written by Azad Abul Kalam. Shooting of the telefilm is being held at a shooting house in the city’s Uttara area now.
After a break of 12 years, Suborna first paired up with Afzal Hossain in a telefilm titled Prem Banchite Janey under the direction of Arif Khan. Story of the telefilm written by Faria Hossain was aired on NTV in 2012. Later two years break of that telefilm they again performed together in Arif Khan’s directed a play titled Engreji Shikkhar Ashor under the story written by Badrul Anam Soud. It was aired on Channel i in 2014.
While talking about his performance against Suborna in this telefilm Afzal Hossain told this correspondent, “Due to official works it is really difficult for me to manage time to act in TV play/telefilm. I have liked story of the telefilm Tobuo Aamarey Debona Bhulitey. For this reason, despite having engagements I have agreed to work in the telefilm and I hope viewers will enjoy to watch it.”
Suborna shared her feelings by this way, “It is a matter of liking to work in Arif Khan’s direction is that there is a combination of talented and reputed actors in his play or telefilm. To work with them anybody can improve their skills. There is not a joyful matter to work single in any good story based play. It is to goal without player on the filed.”
Director Arif Khan said, “I always receive love and affection when to work with Afzal Bhai and Suborna Apa. During childhood I was developed to watch their acting. When I became director I had dreamt to cast them in my directed play/telefilm. To cast and work with them are really one of my great achievements under my direction. I am really grateful to them.” The telefilm Tobuo Aamarey Debona Bhulitey is expected to air on Channel i in Eid-ul-Fitr, Arif Khan said.
