Noted actress Suborna Mustafa performed on stage in Toronto, Canada after 25 years. She acted in first stage show of Badrul Anam Soud scripted and directed play Kalponik Ekti Sottyo Ghotona at Pavilion stage in Toronto on August 25. Besides Suborna, Chitralekha Guha and Canada expatriate actor Ahmed Hossain also acted in that play.
Suborna impressed the viewers by her outstanding performance in the 40-minute play on the stage. Expatriate theatre lovers were impressed with enjoying her performance after a long 25 years there.
While sharing her feelings to perform on the stage in Toronto Suborna Mustafa told this correspondent over mobile phone, “I performed on the stage after 25 years so I had liking in this regard. After performing I got huge response from the audience which impressed me a lot. Right now I am missing Soud because his scripted and directed play was staged for the first time in Canada but he couldn’t present there due to his illness.”
Suborna also mentioned that she will return to Bangladesh on September 7.
