Holey Artisan case: Submission of probe report on Oct 18

An Anti-Terrorism Special Tribunal of Dhaka yesterday fixed October 18 for submission of report in connection with the attachment of the properties of fugitive Mamunur Rashid Ripon and his appearance to the respective authorities in the Holey Artisan
Bakery attack case. Judge-in-Charge Monir Kamal of the court passed the order after hearing.
Prosecutor Golam Sarwar of the court told newsmen that on August 29, the court passed the attachment order against fugitive Md Shariful Islam and Mamunur Rashid in connection with the attachment of their moveable properties. On Sunday the report about Shariful Islam was submitted, but the report about Mamun is yet to be submitted.
Earlier, after receiving the reports on execution of arrest warrant, Judge Mojibur Rahman of the Anti-Terrorism Special Tribunal passed the directing the Officers-in-Charge to submit reports on execution of attachment of moveable properties by September 30. On August 8, the tribunal accepted charge sheet against eight militants and issued arrest warrants against accused Khaled and Ripon.
On July 1, 2016, the incident happened in Gulshan diplomatic area, when 28 persons were killed including two police officials, 18 foreigners, two local people and six militants.
