Court Correspondent :
The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka on Wednesday deferred the date for the submission of the investigation report in the case filed over the incident of Badda twin murder — father and his daughter.
Magistrate Amirul Haider Chowdhury of the CMM Court set February 12 as the next date for submission of the report.
Earlier, the court set yesterday for the submission of the report, but Badda Police Station Sub-Inspector
Shakhawat Hossain — the investigation officer of the case — failed to submit the probe report on Wednesday.
Jamil Sheikh, 38, and his nine-year old daughter were found dead at their rented house at 306, Moynarbag of North Badda in the capital around 6:00am on November 2, 2017. In the afternoon, Jamil’s brother Shamim filed the case with Badda Police Station, accusing Shahin Mollik, 26, a sub-let tenant of the victim’s residence and victim’s wife Arzina Begum, 30.
Jamil Sheikh was driver of a private car. His daughter Nusrat Sheikh was a class-III student of Badda International School.
