The submission of investigation report in connection with the case of Titumir College student Rajib was yesterday deferred to March 13.
Magistrate Sarafuzzaman Ansari of the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka fixed the new date on Wednesday to submit the investigation
report. The accused persons are: BRTC bus driver Wahid, 35 and Sujan Paribahan bus driver Khorshed, 50.
On April 3, last year, Rajib Hossain, 21, a thrird-year student of Government Titumir College, lost his right hand after it got stuck between two speeding buses trying to overtake each other in the capital’s Bangla Motor area. Two passersby took him to the Samarita Hospital of Panthapath. Later, on April 16, at midnight, Rajib succumbed to this injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital during his treatment.
