A new door to acting opened for actress Subhashree Ganguly when she got guidance from theatre personality Sohini Sengupta during the making of Parineeta. According to Subhashree, Sohini never had a set plan to show her how to walk, talk or sit like the character. It was more about internalising the behaviours. “She gave me the confidence to perform according to my will. Sohinidi told me, ‘You do however you want to; I know you will be able to.’ Only thing she reminded me that I will have to eat, sleep, walk and talk with Mehul in mind as long as the shoot was on.”
