The three-day 44th sub-regional school and madrasha athlete and swimming competition of summer season began on Wednesday at Khulna Government Zila School campus.
Khulna Divisional Commissioner M Abdus Samad formally inaugurated the competition as the chief guest.
Deputy Director of Secondary and Higher Education Division of Khulna region T M Zakir Hossain was also present.
Khulna Deputy Commissioner M Mostofa Kamal was present as the special guest.
Students of champion schools and Madrashas of ten districts in Khulna division attended the competition.
