In observance of the International Peace Protection Day , Southern University, Bangladesh (SUB) arranged a debate competition followed by colourful rally that brought out in city area yesterday.
The theme of the debate competition was’ Role of UN and EU in establishing Global Peace’ . A colourful rally was brought out from university premises duly participated by its founder Sarwar Jahan, Professor of pharmacy Mohiuddin Chowdhury, head of Civil Engineering Deptt Engr. Ali Ashraf, Registrar Dr. Mamtazul Islam Chowdhury, Head of General Education Deptt Dr.Shakawat, teachers, officials and the students.
After end of the rally, debate competition was held at university hall room with its founder Sarwar Jahan in the chair. Noted poet and columnist of Dainik Protom Alo inaugurated the debate as chief guest.
