Southern University Bangladesh has celebrated the 13th anniversary on January 4 in a colorful function . Vice- Chancellor of the University Prof Mohammed Ali inaugurated the function as Chief Guest. Founder of the University Md. Sarwar Jahan, Co-founder Israt Jahan, Pro- Vice Chancellor Dr. Shorifuzzaman, Dean of Business Administration Dr. ANM Abdul Muktadir, Head of Civil Engineering Department Prof. Engineer Ali Asraf, Head of Computer Science Dr. Nurul Mostafa , Advisor ,Department of Law Prof Mohiuddin Khaled, Registrar Dr Momtazul Islam and the student and other senior officers and staff were present in the inaugural function. Later, a founding anniversary cake was cut by the guest. A discussion meeting was also held at the university campus.
