India’s prominent universities, colleges and boarding schools have teamed up to showcase Indian education in a two-day counseling meet namely ‘Study in India’ to be held on next Friday and Saturday at BICC in the capital. This event follows from Chittagong on 18 and 19 July at Hotel Agrabad.
‘Study in India’ meet is supported by the High Commission of India in Dhaka.
The event will be inaugurated on 21st July at 10:30 am by the High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh Harsh Vardhan Shringla as chief guest along with other distinguished dignitaries and guests from the education fraternity, says a press release.
The objective of the ‘Study in India’ event is to provide the right information and guidance to Bangladeshi students planning to pursue their studies in India. The counseling meet would be showcasing over 30 of India’s leading universities, colleges and boarding schools from various parts of the country.
It will provide easy and direct access to Bangladeshi students and parents to meet face-to-face with the admission authorities of the participating Indian institutions.
The participating schools will be offering the international curriculum that is Cambridge International Examination (CIE) and International Baccalaureate (IB) along with the Indian curriculum, which are ISCE and CBSE.
The fair would also offer spot registration of admission on Engineering, Medical, Paramedical, Dental, Nursing, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, IT, MBA, BBA, Hotel Management, Journalism, Architecture and many more subjects as per the admission procedure of the respective colleges.
Some of the participating Schools are Pathways World School, Ebenezer International School, Genesis Global School, The Sagar School, Assam Valley School, KIIT International School, Oakridge International School, etc.
Some of the prominent Universities and Colleges participating in the fair are Sharda University, Amity University, SRM University, Acharya Institute, Manav Rachna University, Alliance University, Lovely Professional University, Mody University, Apeejay Stya University, AIMS Institutes, etc. and many such others.
