Thousands of students and teachers of different school and colleges of port city today vowed to resist militancy with all strength for protecting the existence of independent and sovereign Bangladesh.
“Militancy must be wiped out from the country, a collective war should be waged with patriotic zeal against it”, they viewed.
Earlier, an anti-militant rally under the slogan of “Jongibad Nipat Jak, Manobata Mukti Pak” started from Government city college premises at 10am yesterday and ended at the Shaheed Minar premises at 11am after parading different city streets.
Thousands of students and teachers, employees of different schools and colleges in the city, took part in the rally and expressed their sentiment against militancy on the occasion.
