State Minister for Health and Family Welfare Zahid Maleque, MP asked students to stay away from terrorism, militancy and drug to make themselves as worthy citizens of the country.
“The government has attached importance to sports activities in educational institutions, which will help flourish talent and creativity among students,” he said this on Sunday while speaking as the chief guest in the annual prize giving ceremony of Manikganj Government Devendra College, Manikganj.
Presided over by Prof Sayedur Rahman, Principal of Manikganj government Devendra College the programme was also addressed by Mahfuzur Rahman, SP (Additional DIG), Manikganj, freedom fighter Gazi Quamrul Huda Selim, mayor of Manikganj pourasava Prof Dr Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman, Advocate Abdul Majid Photo, among others.
