Educating the young learners imbuing with the spirit of Liberation War, patriotism and values is an earnest need as the students should be imparted to knowing about Bangabandhu and the real history of the country.
Stating this at a programme in the capital, Agriculture Minister Dr Abdur Razzaque said this on Friday only proper education aspires to create perfect citizenry, and build a nation suiting to social, mental and economic needs as well.
The minister said “Bangabandhu gave the highest importance to education. He wanted to build an enlightened nation through education. He declared free education to all learners”.
Razzaque was addressing the Golden Jubilee celebration ceremony of Ideal College, Dhanmondi.
He said under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Bangladesh is moving on the highway of development. To build a prosperous nation this pace of development has to be accelerated, he commented.
Governing Body President of Ideal College Syed Rezaur Rahman presided over the program while Chairman of Jatiya Mahila Sangstha Momtaz Begum spoke as special guest.
