Education USA, under the US Embassy in Dhaka, organized a pre-departure orientation ceremony for students who enrolled for undergraduate and graduate studies at different universities in United States of America, said a press release.
The ceremony was held at the American Center in the city recently. During the ceremony, President of American Alumni Association (AAA) Tahsin Aman awarded the certificates and handed over the checks to the winners of AAA Travel Grant Scholarship. Arefeen Syed, AAA secretary; Ann B McConnell, Director of American Center; Prof Serajul I Bhuiyan, Head of Communication Dept, Auburn University at Montgomery, Cultural Affairs Officer George Mesthos and Samanee Mahbub, an American Alumni of Brown University were also present in this ceremony.
