Technical and vocational students were urged to become enriched with power of skill and innovation for making themselves competent workforce to meet the demands of the modern era.
Speakers came up with the observation while addressing a seminar on importance of skill competition at conference hall of Rajshahi Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in the city on Saturday. RPI organized the seminar as part of its daylong regional skills competition.
They observed that skills competition can flourish latent talents and innovative capacity of the technical students.
Marking the event, RPI also arranged a colourful rally joined by Mayor of Rajshahi City Corporation AHM Khairuzzaman Liton as chief guest.
