The students of Shamsul Hoque Khan School & College (SHKSC), English Version of Demra Dhaka have organized a tree plantation program complying with the health guidelines amid the ongoing corona pandemic. SHKSC Principal Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Mollah on 25 this month inaugurated the program virtually with the presence of governing body members. The prime motto of this exceptional plantation program was “Start tree plantation to store oxygen”.
About 1200 students along with their guardians took part in plantation program throughout the day. The students keeping social distance planted trees in their yard, balcony and roadside vacant spaces and made the program a successful one.
Principal Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Mollah praised the initiative and inspired the student’s to have refreshed mentally in this pandemic situation. He also said, if this program can be circulated in mass and social media, enormous people will join the board. He emphasized the importance of tree plantation to the young generation.
The principal remembered the success story of English Version under Shamsul Hoque Khan School & College that it participated in PEC Examination for the first time in 2018 and achieved 41 A+ out of 41 including 28 talent pool scholarship and 1 general. In the following year it achieved 64 A+ out of 64 candidates making the record of 100pc A+.
This year, all 24 students of English Version got scholarships in talentpool category. Besides, the SHKSC Bangla medium and College section have also excellent record of impressive result. From the beginning the institution has been giving importance on creating ethical value based education and impressive result. Moreover, in this pandemic situation this organization has arranged online classes and extracurricular activities like scout, debate, English Language Club with a great expertise.
The Principal and governing body expect cooperation of all and media to establish a sustainable education system in SHKSC for the next generation.
