UNB, Jessore :At least 15 students of a school were injured as a picnic bus plunged into a ditch at Kashempur in Kumarkhali upazila of Kushtia district on Saturday.Witnesses said the bus carrying 37 students of Bagharpara Pilot High School of Jessore fell into a roadside ditch when its driver lost control over the steering while moving towards Shelaidaha of Kushtia for picnic, leaving 15 students injured.Kumarkhali thana officer-in-charge Lutfar Rahman said the injured students were admitted to Kushtia General Hospital and Kumarkhali Health Complex.Earlier on February 15, seven schoolchildren drowned when a bus carrying them home from a picnic plunged into a pond in Chougachha upazila of Jessore.PM to visit Sylhet on Feb 28Sylhet CorrespondentPrime Minister Sheikh Hasina will visit in beach town Sylhet on a day-long tour on February 28.
