50 BNP men sent to jail in Lalmonirhat

UNB, Lalmanirhat :A court here on Monday sent 50 local leaders and activists of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) to jail rejecting their bail prayers in several cases filed for murder and subversive activities during the 10th parliamentary elections.There were Patgram upazila unit BNP president Mostafa Salauzzaman Opel and general secretary Amir Hamja among the accused.Court sources said when the 50 BNP leaders and activists surrendered before the court in the afternoon and sought bail, Senior Judicial Magistrate Alamgir Kabir Shipan...
