Sailkupa Girls' High School: Students, guardians face troubles at entry point

The female students of Sailkupa Girls’ High School in Jhenaidah have been facing manyfold problems for long. For lack of maintenance of the passage in front of the school and least height gate were the main barriers for them said a number of students and guardians.
The female students said, a big hole was developed at the entry to the school where stagnant of rain water is a common feature. The situation remain throughout the monsoon. Due to depth of the hole, the students as well as guardians cannot enter in to the school easily, they said.
Further, both the students, teachers, other staff and guardians face more troubles when they enter in to the educational institution every day as the gate at the entry was of least height. The people who desire to enter with bicycle or motor cycle sustain injury. But the authority is almost silent to remove the troubles.
A number of students said, the feel shy when they enter in to the school keeping their trousers up to knee to avoid stagnant water at the entry. Sometimes the students fall from the bicycles during the entrance and exit.
Some guardians requesting not to be named said that they receive shock and injury when they cross the least height steel made gate. The matter was brought in to the notice of the authority, while they did not take any step to ease the troubles in past couple of years, they said.
