Staff Reporter :The students of Cambrian School and College and Gulshan Model School and College on Wednesday formed a human chain near the BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan office urges her to withdraw all programmes that would hamper their examinations.Around 200 students of formed the human chain carrying placards, banners and posters of anti-hartal slogans.The students stood on both sides of the road No. 90 in Gulshan-2, near the political office of the BNP chief around noon and were continuing till 1:00pm.Earlier on January 31, students of a school in Dhaka’s Badda formed a human chain near Khaleda Zia’s office placing the same demands. Talking to reporters, the teachers said they arranged the peaceful programme to draw the attention of Khaleda Zia to withdraw hartal and blockade enabling the examinees to smoothly sit for their examinations. Minar Al Amin, a student of Cambrian College, said, “We have not been able to carry on with our normal academic activities for more than a month. Now the SSC exams of our brothers and sisters have been stopped.””If this continues, we will not be able to complete our educational normally,” he added.
