The students of schools and colleges in the port city staged street demonstration demanding safe road on Friday also.
They staged demonstration in cross section of Chowkbazar, Kazir Dewri, Anderkilla, and Press Club square . During their demonstration, the students checked the license, blue book of the vehicles by blocking the road.
A student of a Govt School of the city on condition of anonymity told that despite govt assurances to implement of our demands but yet to be changed anything in traffic management in the city.
A girl students to the media person that they want implementations not any assurances from govt.
The agitated students said their movement not against govt rather traffic management and hoped govt will stand beside us.
Commuters in the city and home bound passengers of the surrounding upazilas faced untold miseries for want of transports of inter district routes.
